Customizing Cookie

Customizing Cookie 🛠️

Cookie offers several customization options for server admins to manage permissions, notifications, and user interactions. Below is a guide on how to customize Cookie's settings, channels, and features using the available commands.

1. Managing Plugins 🔌

Admins can enable or disable plugins depending on the server's needs. This is useful if your server only requires specific features, helping to streamline the bot's functionality.

Enable or Disable Plugins

  • Command: /admin plugin Use this command to enable or disable plugins that provide extra features for your server. You can toggle specific features on or off based on your server's preferences.

2. Customizing Level-Up Messages 🎉

Admins can customize the way level-up messages are displayed to users when they gain experience and level up in the server. These messages can be tailored to include custom text, emojis, and more.

Set a Custom Level-Up Message

  • Command: /admin set level_message Personalize the message that is displayed when users level up. This can include custom congratulatory messages, tailored to your server’s tone and culture.

Change the Level-Up Message Channel

  • Command: /admin set level_msg_channel Use this command to change the channel where level-up notifications appear, allowing you to keep level-up messages in a dedicated channel.

Reset Level-Up Message Channel

  • Command: /admin reset level_message_channel Reset the channel where level-up messages are sent, reverting it to the default channel if needed.

3. Farm Panel Customization 🌾

Admins can set up and manage custom farm panels to better organize farming activities. Farm panels help keep specific commands focused in one channel for a more organized gameplay experience.

Setup or Remove a Custom Farm Panel

  • Command: /admin set farm_panel This command allows you to create or remove a custom farm panel in your server. It’s great for organizing farming-related activities into one dedicated channel.

4. Setting Announcements Channel 📢

Cookie can send updates and announcements from the support server directly to your server. Admins can specify which channel these updates should be sent to.

Set an Announcements Channel

  • Command: /admin set announce Set the channel where Cookie will send official announcements and updates. This helps keep your members informed about new features, bug fixes, or scheduled maintenance.

5. Managing XP Restrictions 🛠️

You can restrict XP gain in certain channels or for certain roles to prevent level farming in inactive or inappropriate channels.

Set XP Restrictions

  • Command: /admin set xp_restrictions Add or remove channels or roles where XP gain is restricted. This is useful for keeping leveling fair and preventing users from spamming commands in inactive channels.

6. Reward System Customization 🎁

Cookie includes a reward system that encourages user engagement by offering daily and weekly rewards. Admins can control how reminders are set and manage reward cooldowns.

Claim a Reward

  • Command: /reward claim Users can claim available rewards using this command. Admins can encourage regular participation by setting appropriate reward reminders.

Check Reward Cooldowns

  • Command: /reward cooldowns Use this command to check which rewards are currently on cooldown. This helps users track when they can claim their next reward.

Manage Reward Reminders

  • Command: /reward reminder Enable or disable specific reminders for users to claim their rewards. This is useful to prevent users from missing out on rewards or to reduce notification spam.

Check Reminder Status

  • Command: /reward reminders View the current status of reward reminders, whether they are enabled or disabled.

7. User Account Customization 🔐

Admins and users can customize their Cookie profiles by updating descriptions or usernames, and even deleting accounts if necessary.

Delete a Cookie Account

  • Command: /account delete This command allows users to permanently delete their Cookie account. Be sure to confirm before proceeding, as this action cannot be undone.

Update Profile Description

  • Command: /account update description Users can update their profile descriptions to better reflect their status, achievements, or personality in the Cookie universe.

Update Username

  • Command: /account update username This command allows users to update their usernames and check their progress in Cookie.

Tips for Customizing Cookie

  • Test Changes: Always test changes in a private or bot-specific channel to make sure everything works as expected before rolling it out to the entire server.

  • Community Input: Take feedback from your server members and adjust settings like level-up messages, farm panels, and reward reminders accordingly.

By using these commands, you can fully customize Cookie to suit your Discord server’s unique environment. Whether you’re setting up custom panels for farming or managing reward reminders, Cookie Bot offers a range of customization options to enhance user experience.
